What data we collect

We collect information you provide when you book or complete a notarization session: name, government-issued ID (for identity verification), email address, and the document you submit for notarization. We do not store your ID document after session completion.

We collect analytics data through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. This data is only collected after you consent via our cookie banner. We use it to understand how users find and use our services.

With your consent, we also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how you interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. Clarity captures interaction data — clicks, scrolls, and navigation — using first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies, which we use for site optimization, diagnostics, and fraud/security purposes. Clarity is configured to mask text and form inputs by default, so the information you type (including names, contact details, and any uploaded documents) is not captured in session replays. Microsoft may use the data it collects as a joint controller in line with the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Clarity loads only after you grant analytics consent, and not at all if you decline.

Cookie categories

  • Essential: Required for the site to function. Not subject to consent.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity — measure site performance and how visitors use the site. Require consent.
  • Marketing: Google Ads — measures ad effectiveness. Requires consent.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Data retention

Session recordings and notarial journals are retained for seven years in accordance with Florida Statutes §117.245. Contact form submissions are retained for 90 days. Analytics data is governed by Google Analytics 4 retention settings, currently set to 14 months. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

Third-party processors

We use the following third-party services: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising (behavioral analytics — see the Microsoft Privacy Statement), EmailJS (for contact form submissions), and our remote online notarization platform provider.
