We notarize and manage the apostille process end to end: document review, Florida Department of State processing, tracking, and secure return delivery for international use. Ideal for dual citizenship, visas, overseas real estate, adoptions, and international legal filings. Florida does not run an official expedited apostille queue; in-person walk-in submission is available and may reduce mailing delay for eligible requests, but the review itself still runs on the Department of State's own schedule, separate from our own courier and handling time. The $160 starting price covers our notarization and coordination fee; Florida's apostille state fee and any shipping or courier costs are itemized separately.

What countries accept an apostille?
Countries that are signatories to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention accept apostilles. For non-Hague countries, consular legalization is required instead.
How long does apostille processing take?
Processing time is set by the Florida Department of State, not by us, and it changes with their workload. Florida does not offer an official expedited queue for apostille requests; walk-in submission can reduce mailing delay for eligible documents, but it doesn't guarantee a faster review. Check their current apostille processing times at dos.fl.gov/sunbiz/document-processing-dates/ before you build a deadline around it. That state review time is separate from our own handling — see the courier question below for the turnaround we control.
Is a Declaration of Domicile part of getting an apostille?
No. A Declaration of Domicile is a separate Florida document recorded with a county clerk to establish residency — see County Recording Support for that. It has nothing to do with authenticating a document for use abroad, which is what this apostille service handles.
Does a Florida apostille work for a document from a business incorporated in another state?
Yes, in most cases. Florida's apostille only certifies a Florida notary's commission and signature, or a certified copy from a Florida public official, not the business entity's state of incorporation. A document signed by an authorized representative and properly notarized by a Florida notary is generally eligible for apostille here, even if the company was incorporated elsewhere. Acceptance still depends on the receiving institution, and some ask for extra proof of authority, so confirm with them directly before submitting.
Can you apostille a large batch of documents, and how does the courier process work?
Yes. Once I have the completed application and the zipped documents package, I send it to the apostille courier for printing and submission to the Florida Department of State, picked up the next business day. That next-business-day pickup is our own handling time, not the state's review time — Florida Department of State sets its own apostille processing schedule once the courier delivers your package. You get a copy of the tracking receipt once it's dropped off. For scanbacks, proof copies returned before the originals ship, the courier fee scales with volume, so expect that as a separate line on larger batches.
