Affidavit Notarization

Affidavit & Sworn Statement Notarization

Sign and swear to an affidavit or sworn statement over secure video with a Florida-commissioned notary, from $45 — a notary calls you back to schedule.

~15 min notarization sessionFrom $45

An affidavit or sworn statement is a jurat: you swear or affirm under oath that its contents are true, and I administer that oath and witness your signature over secure video, then apply my seal. I don't draft the affidavit or advise on what it should say — that's the unauthorized practice of law when done by a notary; an attorney drafts, I notarize. Have your government-issued photo ID and the unsigned affidavit ready before the session — Florida notaries cannot notarize a signature that already happened.

How it works

  1. Send your affidavit

Upload the unsigned affidavit or sworn statement through the secure booking flow.

  2. Verify identity

Complete a KBA quiz and an ID scan inside the session.

  3. Swear and sign on camera

State the oath and sign the document live during the video session — I administer the jurat.

  4. Receive sealed PDF

Download the digitally notarized PDF with audit trail.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a jurat and an acknowledgment?

A jurat requires you to swear or affirm under oath that the document's contents are true — that's what most affidavits and sworn statements call for, and I administer that oath before you sign. An acknowledgment only confirms your identity and that you signed voluntarily, without swearing to the contents. Tell me which your document needs if you're not sure.

Can you draft or help me word my affidavit?

No. I administer the oath and notarize your signature — I don't draft the affidavit or advise on its wording or legal effect. That's the unauthorized practice of law when done by a notary. If you need help wording it, an attorney can draft it and I'll notarize it once it's ready.

How much does it cost?

A routine affidavit session is $45 total for one signer, one document, and one notarial act. See /pricing for the full itemized breakdown and multi-stamp rates if you have more than one document to notarize.

What do I need before the session?

Government-issued photo ID, a camera-equipped device with a stable internet connection, and the unsigned affidavit — Florida notaries cannot notarize a signature that already happened.

Is this the same as a Remote Online Notarization session?

Yes — an affidavit or sworn statement is one of the most common documents notarized during a routine Remote Online Notarization (RON) session. See /services/remote-online-notarization for how a RON session works end to end.
