Mobile / In-Person Notary
For the documents and signers that need someone in the room. Notarial act and travel are always priced and shown as two separate lines.
Most sessions don't need a visit. Remote Online Notarization covers the vast majority of documents from anywhere with a camera, and remains the faster path for most signers. Mobile / in-person is available for the documents that legally require physical presence (a VIN inspection) or when a signer needs someone in the room (a hospital bedside signing, an elderly signer, a family that wants everyone together). I travel to a home, workplace, hospital room, or title office within the service area. Two line items, never bundled: the notarial act (The notarial act itself is capped at $10 per signature under Florida law (F.S. §117.05(2)), billed as its own line, separate from travel.) and a travel fee. First 20 miles at the standard mileage rate ($0.725/mile, the 2026 IRS business rate): a $14.50 minimum. Each additional mile beyond 20 is billed at double the standard rate ($1.45/mile). I confirm the total mileage and price before booking.
How it works
- Confirm it needs a visit
Tell me the document and situation. If RON can handle it, I'll say so and you skip travel entirely.
- Confirm distance and price
I confirm mileage and quote the total before booking: the $10 act plus the travel fee, itemized as two lines.
- Travel and notarize
I travel to your home, workplace, hospital room, or title office and complete the notarization on site.
- Deliver the sealed document
You receive the signed, sealed document and, on request, a digital copy the same day.
Who this is for
- individuals
- families
Frequently asked questions
How much does mobile / in-person notarization cost?
Two separate line items, never bundled. The notarial act itself is capped at $10 per signature under Florida law (F.S. §117.05(2)), billed as its own line, separate from travel. Travel: First 20 miles at the standard mileage rate ($0.725/mile, the 2026 IRS business rate): a $14.50 minimum. Each additional mile beyond 20 is billed at double the standard rate ($1.45/mile). I confirm the total mileage and price before booking.
Why is Remote Online Notarization the default instead of a mobile visit?
RON covers most documents and is faster for most signers, since there is no travel time on either side. Mobile is available and priced transparently above for the documents and situations that need physical presence.
Where does the 2026 mileage rate come from?
The travel fee is based on the 2026 IRS standard business mileage rate. Florida law (F.S. §117.05(2)) permits a notary to charge a reasonable, disclosed travel fee for an in-person act, but does not set the mileage figure itself, so the IRS business rate is used as the benchmark and updated each January when the IRS publishes a new one.
